Gil is the currency of FFXIV, and it's no surprise that Gil acts as a foundation for all legal trade in the fictional lands of Eorzea. A strong economy begins to form in-game when Gil circulates within the community and players begin buying goods, giving away their own currency of FFXIV Gil. To be an active part of this new economic system you need to not only buy things but also sell them.
The world runs on money and a lot of it. You can't imagine anything that does not require Gil for you to acquire. If you want to craft an item in Final Fantasy XIV but don’t have enough materials on hand? Guess what – it will cost Gil. Or if you fancy a mount to travel around the world faster, it costs you Gil not surprisingly.
With all the talk of how important Gil is for players to have, it’s time we get practical. Let us show you some ways to make some serious FFXIV Gil.
Alongside the original equipment, you will be awarded the first amount of FFXIV Gil at the start. Then you should start looking at other sources for income so that way more can come your way.
The first thing that comes to mind is all the valuables hidden within dungeons. The best way to find these riches is by exploring and coming in possession of not just FFXIV Gil but also some rare items which can be used as crafting material or simply sold off at a profit.
The more experience you get, the better your chances of getting a powerful item. The Tombstones are available once players have reached level 50 in-game and can be exchanged for components required to craft items or sold off with high price tags on them. But what if all this time spent traveling through dungeons isn't even worth it? And there is always risk involved when going out hunting monsters that may kill your character without any warning.
If combat isn't really what gets you going then Marketplace Board may be right up your alley. The marketplace allows players who don't want any Helmies around them at all - perfect when fishing through other people's goods without having worries about raising awareness from potential opponents nearby. If you want to be a successful trader, your number 1 mantra should be buying low and selling high.
You may not avoid completing quests, but they are an essential part of leveling up your character, getting stronger, and surviving in this harsh world. Many tasks reward players with some FFXIV Gil, but they can only be done once per character. However, Guildleves or Levequests can be done repetitively within the leve allowances. These quests will net players experience while also rewarding you with certain FFXIV Gil, however, the gains might not be worth the effort.
One of the most popular ways to make Gil is crafting, if you're willing to put in some time and effort leveling up your crafter skill set high enough. But there is too much competition on similar goods flooding into the market, dragging down prices for everyone else.
Finally here comes the easy way of getting FFXIV Gil - buy Gil from a third party online site. To avoid wasting your time and effort on an unsatisfactory amount of Gil earned through the methods mentioned above, it isn’t bad to treat yourself with some FFXIV Gil without spending your own time. Final Fantasy XIV Gil is the perfect way to enhance your character and have all of the newest items. You can also level up faster with Final Fantasy XIV Gil. There's no need to wait around - get what you want now!

Was it something small? Was it something big? Or was it everything? Everything within FFXIV Classic was completely revamped to the point of being almost nothing like its predecessor. Final Fantasy XIV had seen its share of ups and downs throughout the years, with expansions that changed some things for good, while others couldn't entirely remove their terrible legacy. Then came A Realm Reborn, which was not just an expansion on top of the original game but a full-on rebranding alongside plenty of changes aimed at making players' lives easier. Life doesn't get much easier than having your own personal Chocobo to ride across Eorzea.
What did Square Enix pull off in this relaunch that made fans forget all about the disappointment and problems with 1.0? Here is a list of the most critical and best changes.
PvE Progression & Endgame: One of the biggest complaints about 1.0 was how there was no real sense of direction in leveling your character, with the only motivation being that one day, maybe, you'll be able to do more than fight Corsairs on the Sastasha grind-wheel. With A Realm Reborn came several new content patches which introduced high-level dungeons such as Hullbreaker Isle (Hard) and Palace of the Dead (Hard). More importantly, Patch 2.2 brought forth an even more significant addition: Alexander, your next raid target after getting through Binding Coil and Pharos Sirius (item level 60), the current endgame content.
In addition, each dungeon and raid in A Realm Reborn comes with its own set of rewards, such as gear, minions, and mounts. The game constantly introduces new things for players to do, whether it's a new 24-player alliance raid or a new trial that will test your DPS meters to the limit.
Glamouring: This system can be best described as "transmogrification" in other MMOs. It allows you to change the appearance of any piece of gear you have equipped, regardless of its stats. This way, you can have that cool armor set look without sacrificing your stats to get it. You can also use glamours on companion pets, minions, and your Chocobo.
Sightseeing Log: The game's main story quests are divided into three categories A, B, and C, with more than three quests in each category. That essentially means that you can freely choose which order to do the quests in at your own pace without having to worry about missing out on some essential quests that give you rewards for completing others. This way, players will be able to experience all of the game's content while not feeling overwhelmed by so many mandatory tasks they'd need to complete before advancing their character further.
Favorites Menu: Do things like changing gear or using items feel so tedious? You can now set up multiple favorites menu shortcuts on your hotbar to set up your actions for quick use in battle.
Easier Crafting: It's not just about changing the fact that there are now multiple crafting disciplines with their own skill sets. The fact that A Realm Reborn made it so that you no longer needed to sit through lengthy animations when using items like HQ mats and abilities like Synthesis (which was previously hampered by an annoying action timer). To be more specific, most of the Synthesis tediousness has been removed, including most of its durability loss after each action, which means that you'll be able to craft more items with less hassle.
UI Enhancements: This one is self-explanatory; Square Enix went above and beyond with their UI enhancements making it so you can see your entire skill book as well as various other things on the screen at all times. In addition to this, many of the game's menus have been streamlined and given a complete visual redesign. The most significant change here was how A Realm Reborn introduced a system that shows only relevant information to you whenever you're in a menu, allowing for a much more organized experience overall.
Minion System: With 1.0, players had their fair share of issues with trust since it led to them swindling out of Gil countless times from people selling what they claimed was their exclusive mounts or minions (which turned out to be replicas). However, with A Realm Reborn, Square Enix employed an excellent new feature that allows players to summon their minions anywhere at any time to show them off to other players. Also, in patch 2.1, Square Enix gave players the ability to manage their minion inventory via the Minion Guide, making it so you can summon all of your favorite minions when you're out adventuring without needing to worry about excess storage space.
The Armoury System: This system essentially allows you to change classes or jobs by changing your weapon loadout. For example, say you have a Gladiator (which is a job) with his main class being Pugilist (the class). Once this happens, you'll have access to all of your Gladiator abilities, along with wearing any gear that will boost up both Gladiator and Pugilist if it's slotted with the correct material. You can even do this for your Chocobo and companion pets, which is a pretty nifty feature.
Duty Finder: It is designed to make it easier for players to find other people to group up with for endgame content. The Duty Finder is a system that takes care of all of the queuing for you so that all you need to do is sit back and wait until it finds a group for the activity or dungeon you're looking to do. It also includes an automatic party matching system that will attempt to put together groups of players who share similar levels and gear scores.
These are only some of the revamped features or added in A Realm Reborn; needless to say, Square Enix did an outstanding job with this game. Don't believe how revitalized the game is now? Check it out for yourself!
